Beef with Brocolli
My sister and I love this dish, and it's so easy to make at home! I love the crunchy broccoli and chewy beef in the savory sauce. They make a perfect combination!

Ingredients
  1. 1 pound grass-fed flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  2. 12 oz broccoli florets
  3. 2.5 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  4. 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
Marinade
  1. 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  2. 2 teaspoons rice wine, such as sake (you can substitute dry sherry)
  3. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  4. 1 tablespoon corn starch
  5. pinch of black pepper
Sauce
  1. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  2. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  3. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  4. 2 teaspoons corn starch
  5. 1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions
  1. Combine all the ingredients of the marinade, add the beef, and coat. Let it marinade for 15 minutes or so.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli florets for 10-15 seconds, just until they've turned bright green. Drain and set aside.
  3. Combine the ingredients of the sauce. Have the sauce, oil, ginger, broccoli, and marinating beef ready next to your wok.
  4. Over high heat, heat a tablespoon of grapeseed oil in the wok, and swirl it around. Stir-fry the beef until browned, but not fully cooked.
  5. Add the ginger and stir-fry for a minute longer.
  6. Add the broccoli, then the sauce. Stir-fry until every nook and cranny of the broccoli is coated with the sauce, and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Serve immediately.
