New video babyyyy! 😇 I made “healthy snickers” and my family and I have become obsessed with these! It’s a super easy recipe and it really is the perfect summer treat for people with a sweet tooth (like me😉). Watch the video above to learn how to make them!

Healthy Snickers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Pitted dates
  • Peanut butter
  • Chocolate chips (milk or dark)

Directions:

  1. Cut one side of the date to open it up. Fill the inside of the date with peanut butter, and gently press the date closed (like a hotdog).
  2. Melt your chocolate chips in a heat safe bowl until it is silky smooth and there are no clumps (You can use a double boiler or a microwave).
  3. Dip dates in chocolate, or drizzle chocolate on top. Place dates on a plate covered in parchment paper.
  4. Lightly sprinkle flakey salt on the chocolate before it hardens.
  5. Freeze dates until the chocolate sets and hardens. You can store these in the fridge for a chewy, softer texture, or keep them in the freezer for a more “ice cream” cold treat.
  6. ENJOY!!!

  1. I tried these and they realy do taste like snickers, but when I poped them in the fridge, the dates became hard. I guess I just have to leave them out on the counter to let the chocolate harden. Also, I created a blog and it would be helpful if you could go and check it out. You could give me tips and recipe suggestions. If you don’t want to though, thats totaly fine, but it would be helpful for you to share my blog with friends and family.

  2. So amazing, with these simple ingredients you make a nice snack. I both like chocolate and the flavor of peanuts butter. But if we can use some molds or another thing to form this snack. It will be more attractive.

  3. I really LOVE this recipe! I tried it and it taste AMAZING!!! My brother loves it, my dad loves it and my mom loves it too!! Thank You For sharing this recipe!!
